Sweet Affair was formed with the intention of being an elite chamber ensemble. The members have played with top orchestras around the world and now showcase their talents in the form of a chamber ensemble.
Symphonic and Operatic arrangements for quartet and trio are Sweet Affair's speciality in addition to the famous classical chamber works.
Sweet Affair' is an established all female classical quartet that has attracted a great deal of publicity in television and in the newspapers throughout the Canberra region appearing at weddings and many high profile functions and concerts, including performances for the Prime Minister, the summer series concerts at the National Botanic Gardens and at ‘Opera By George’.
Sweet Affair has also made appearances for ACT Rugby and the ‘Brumbies’, the Rotary Club of Canberra, the 2002 Canberra ‘TASTE’ Festival and the"Prime Ministers Awards". Most recently, Sweet Affair performed for Jeb Bush.
Sweet Affair can perform as quartet, trio, duo or solo: Quartet: (flute, violin, viola and cello) Trio: (flute, violin and cello or Violin, viola and cello)
Duo: (Flute and cello, Violin and cello or flute and violin) Solo (Flute or Violin or cello).
